On 17 April 2026, the Ministry of Culture inscribed the element Agrarian Communities into the Register of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and evidented one bearer alongside the unit – the Association of Representatives of Agrarian Communities of Slovenia.

Agrarian communities connect landowners who manage common property, most often forest and agricultural land, on the basis of equal rights, duties and obligations. In rural areas, they ensure continuous management of common property and represent the interests of local communities.
